Warhammer Quest: Darkwater - Pox-Wretches
The Pox-Wretches are the lowest of all Nurgle’s followers, and the most numerous of those encountered in the Jade Abbey. As such there are a bunch of them in the Darkwater box, but with thanks to some contrast paints we can get them table top ready in no time.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Andra
The last roaming monster that I needed to do for Massive Darkness 2 was Andra. A horrifying undead amalgamation of demon and angel, they swoop in and out of battle to target the most vulnerable heroes.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Lyidan, Incubus Lord
Lord of the Incubi, Lyidan, is a creature of duality. Bolstered by darkness he will seek out the strongest opponents, but in the light he is weakest often having to retreat back into the shadows.
Warhammer Quest: Darkwater - Shaman Foulhoof
Shaman Foulhoof is here to lead his Pestigors into filth encrusted battle. For this leader of goats, we use some simple highlighting to make him stand a cut above his bestial brethren.
Warhammer Quest: Darkwater - Pestigors
Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is here at last and filled with a bounty of disgusting Nurgle adversaries. Fortunately, painting half naked diseased idiots is my specialty. So with my good friends slap and chop, we can get these Pestigors painted in no time.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Ytheria, Undead Queen
The folds in the cloth and robe mean that Ytheria is ideal to receive the slapchop treatment. But that doesn’t mean we can ignore the skin, she is the Undead Queen after all.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - The Ghoul
The Ghoul is all twisted flesh with some armour stuck on, so with so few components to paint we can afford to spend a little extra time on the skin to really make him stand out on the tabletop.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Fire Entities
Fire always looks like it can be difficult to paint. But it doesn’t have to be. Today we use drybrushing to get these Fire Entities tabletop ready in no time at all.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Fallen Angels
Black robes and white wings, at first glance these Fallen Angels may seem daunting but by keeping things simple we can make sure a paint job isn’t the reason they have turned from the Light of Heaven.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Skeletons
Today we take advantage of the bright colour of bone to cheat our way to lights and shadows. That way we can get these Skeletons done in no time at all.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Demons
Red can be a tricky colour, but falling back on some more traditional ways of painting we can easily make these Demons of Hell really pop on the tabletop.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Infernal Imps
Small but mighty! Don’t let the diminutive size of the Infernal Imps fool you, and don’t think that we’re going to skimp on details.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Gargoyles
How hard can it be to paint a pile of rocks? As it turns out, with some washes and drybrushing, not that hard at all!
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Satyrs
Getting stuck into Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape I picked out some Satyrs that looked like that would definitely benefit from a little speedpainting.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Undead
I’ve had plenty of practice in painting the Undead in various forms over the years. So when I saw some in the Massive Darkness 2 box I knew I could get them tabletop ready in no time at all.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape - Heroes
The Heroes for Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape are a colour band of misfits. But with some quick techniques we can get them to the tabletop in no time at all!
Kingdom Death: Monster - Mountain Dungeon Armour Pinup
Display models can be a great way to, pun intended, brush up on your painting skills. In this article I try and push my skills with the Kingdom Death Monster Dungeon Armour pinup model.
Warhammer Underworlds - The Grandfather's Gardeners
The Grandfather’s Gardeners are packed with details but with some quick washes and airbrush trickery we can get them looking tabletop ready in no time!
